Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible for your data

Francisco Cuevas García, doing business as Photograma Wedding (“Photograma”, “we”), located at Mártires de Chicago No. 107, Oaxaca de Juárez, Oaxaca, México, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

2. What we collect

• Identity and contact: first and last name, email and phone or WhatsApp number.
• Wedding details: date, venue, approximate guest count, approximate budget, how you found us and anything you tell us in your messages.
• If you book us: what we need for the contract, invoicing (Mexican tax details, if you need a factura) and payment records. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed directly by the bank or payment platform.
• Images and video: the photos and video we capture of you, your partner and your guests during the service you booked.
• Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and on-site interactions (clicks and scrolling), collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

We do not ask for sensitive personal data. If your wedding includes a religious ceremony or ritual, the images may show it; we handle them with the same care and only publish them with your permission.

3. How we use your data

Necessary purposes (required to provide what you ask for, so opting out means we cannot provide the service):

• Replying to your messages and checking our availability for your date.
• Sending you quotes and proposals.
• Preparing and performing the contract: planning, covering your event, editing and delivering your photos and film.
• Invoicing, recording payments and meeting tax and legal obligations.
• Handling questions, changes and warranty requests.
• Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse.

Additional purposes (not required for the service; you can refuse at any time without affecting your booking):

• Publishing photos and video clips of your wedding on our website, social media, portfolio, awards and promotional materials.
• Publishing your review with your first name.
• Sending you news, offers or content about our services.
• Measuring how the site is used and showing you Photograma ads on other platforms (for example Facebook and Instagram), unless you decline the related cookies (if you visit from Europe, only when you accept them).

To refuse any additional purpose, write to hola@photogramawedding.com or message us on WhatsApp with the subject “I do not consent to additional purposes” and tell us which ones. Clients can also mark this in their contract.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your data. We rely on service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions; some of them have servers outside Mexico:

Transfers. We may share your data without your consent with authorities when required by law, and with your wedding planner, venue or other wedding vendors when needed to coordinate the coverage you booked.

With your consent, we may share a selection of images from your wedding with the planner, venue or vendors who took part, so they can use them in their own promotion with credit to Photograma. If you do not accept this transfer, tell us at hola@photogramawedding.com or in your contract and we will not make it.

5. How to limit the use of your data

• Write to hola@photogramawedding.com or message us on WhatsApp to stop receiving news, or so we do not publish your images or review.
• Use the “Preferencias sobre cookies” (cookie preferences) button on the site to accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies, or block them in your browser.
• Adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.

6. Your rights and withdrawing consent

You have the right to access your data, correct it if inaccurate, have it deleted and object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw your consent. To do so, email hola@photogramawedding.com with:

• Your name and an email or phone number where we can reply.
• A copy of your official ID (or your representative’s, with proof of representation).
• A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise, plus anything that helps us find it (for example, your wedding date).

We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your complete request and, if it applies, carry it out within the following 15 business days. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when justified, and we will let you know.

Please note that we must keep some data to meet legal obligations (such as tax records), and we cannot recall images from materials already printed or published by third parties on their own; we will remove them from our own channels.

If you believe we did not handle your request as the law requires, you may contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, Mexico’s data protection authority.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

When you visit the site you will see a cookie banner. If you visit from Mexico or another country outside Europe, analytics and marketing cookies are activated as you browse and you can decline them in that banner; if you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere in Europe, they are only activated if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie preferences button.

• Necessary: used by Squarespace to make the site work and keep it secure.
• Analytics (Microsoft Clarity and Squarespace statistics): show us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, where people click and how far they scroll, so we can improve the site. Clarity masks what you type in forms by default.
• Marketing (Meta Pixel): records visits and actions such as a WhatsApp click or a form submission, to measure our ads and show them to people who visited the site.

These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how long you stay.

8. Changes to this notice

We will publish any change on this page, with the update date at the top. If a change affects how we use our clients’ data, we will also let them know by email or WhatsApp.

By sending us your details after reading this notice, you agree to their use for the necessary purposes described above. This English version is a courtesy translation; if there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
